Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt Set For Rec Park On April 19th
(BINGHAMTON, NY) -- The Children's Charity of Greater Binghamton will host its Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Recreation Park, Beethoven Street, Binghamton, on Saturday, April 19th, 2014 at 11:00am.
“Last year’s event was a tremendous success, and this year we are planning even more fun, more eggs, and more prizes,” said Children’s Charity President Jim Worhach. “It’s great traditions like Easter Egg Hunts that make our community such a wonderful place to live and raise a family; every family should be able to enjoy special holiday traditions, and we’re happy to help provide that."
The event is FREE to the entire community and will feature separate Egg Hunts for children:
Ages 3 and under;
Ages 4 -7; and
Ages 8 – 10.
Over 10,000 eggs filled with candy will be hidden throughout the Park, and other top prizes including toys, sports equipment and passes to Animal Adventure and the Binghamton Senators are also up for grabs.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand all morning to greet children and pose for pictures.
Thanks for the generosity of Mirabito Convenience Stores and Tim Hortons, free breakfast items will also be provided to all who attend.
